Kinda freaking out
So I am on a medication my OB prescribed me to help hypertension. The prescribed medicine is procardia but I'm taking the generic brand nefidical. I was also told to take a low dose aspirin, in which I take early in the mornings and the prescribed one at night after dinner.
So today, to curb my hunger I went and ate a grapefruit which is absolutely fantastic for pregnancy! However, its not good to take while on aspirin or the generic brand nefidical which is like an aspirin as well. The reason for this is that grapefruit makes the aspirin 10xs more potent.
(Did not know this until I looked it up.)
I took the low dose 81mg at around 8am and ate the grapefruit close to 10am. I also took the Nefidical at 9pm last night so I don't think it'll be that strong, or at least I hope not.
So NOW - I'm wondering...will this effect the baby?
I am 18w6d and It just freaks me out knowing the potency of the aspirin after eating a darn grapefruit!!!!! πππ
