Idk what to do about my MIL.

I just want to throw my own but I don't want to upset her because she has it in her mind that her and my mom are going to throw it. They hadn't even started and I really wanted it to be in August, not September like she was thinking. I want to give people a months notice. I just ordered the invitations yesterday and she got mad I didn't tell her. It's in the beginning of August I was going to let her know when they arrived next week. She's all like "oh so are you and your mother going to throw it?" And I said no I think I am and Michael (my boyfriend) are because I want it to be our babyshower. Idk I just like being in control. she told me she was going to clean out the baby's room yet hasn't. I offered to do it because I'm bored during the day but no because her husband wants her to go through everything already in there. The crib is here, I just feel like she's holding me up that's why I wanted to plan the shower. Am I wrong for feeling this way
