Has anyone tried to conceive to save a relationship?

Maybe you felt like you needed something big to happen in your relationship because it started to feel dull. I don't know. Just asking.

No. Having a baby will not keep a man. If he didn't want you before pregnancy and won't want you afterwards. You'll end up stuck with the baby while he's off having fun elsewhere with someone else. Seen it happen way too many times to a lot of my friends. Not worth it!

Please don't take this as me saying I want to do this. It was just something I've seen in movies and TV shows and I was wondering it it actually happened in real life.

My parents did, thats how I ended up with a brother. But they ended up splitting anyways.

Its something I'd never do because I feel it would just make things worse.

I never would. I've seen others do it and it only ever ends in disaster.

So not fair on the children. That's what happened with my husbands ex, with both of their kids. Each time he tried to start and end it, she got pregnant on purpose. In the end they still split and the kids have had to deal with the falling out.

My sister did. It didn't end well. If your having problems before a baby, those problems are only going to get harder when you add a child.

I've seen this situation go bad one too many a time. I highly do not recommend this, at the end of the day, the kids are the one that suffer.
