Possibly thrush?

Ever since hearing about it I'm terrified of getting it. I've noticed in the past few feedings that I get a sharp pain in my right breast after feeding. My son has no white spots in his mouth and my nipple isn't red or sore. Could it just be a pain to be concerned about enough to call my doctor or am I over reacting?

However thrush is white patches you can't wipe off the tongue.

My sons pediatrician said its milk trying to produce quicker after they feed. Idk.. My son never had thrush so she could be right.

I still get a sharp pain now, I just think it's when baby feeds they pull on your milk duct? We got thrush right near the beginning. LO had a white tongue but it went away with medication within a week

I was convinced my baby and I had it but I talked to my doctor at my 6 week pp appointment and she didn't think I had it and the pediatritian just checked out my daughter and said she doesn't have it either. Huuuuge relief!! I feel like if you had it you'd know it! Hopefully you'll get the all clear

My baby has thrush, we're going to the doctor tomorrow. It's a pain in the ass but not a big deal. I'm starting to get a little pain in my breasts but it's not in my nipples. If your baby doesn't have any white spots I doubt it's thrush ☺
