As long or so long?

I posted a question a few minutes ago that's similar to this 😂 but like, in this sentence which one would you use?
"You can do this as long as you do this"
Or
"You can do this so long as you do this"
I'm really confused about this, is there a rule with this one as well? If so, could someone please explain it to Me?

You can use either and it mean the same. This is something so minut I think it really depends on the persons usual manner of speaking.
