Dating a single parent
I was talking to my boyfriend today and the topic of dating someone with children came up. He said he wouldn't mind dating someone with a child, but I don't think I ever would. For me I want the child of someone I love to be my child as well. I want to have my own little family, with children that I would have given birth to. I would want us to both experience pregnancy & raising a child together for the first time together. Also I don't want to have to be somewhat of a "parent" figure to a child that wasn't mine. Is it wrong of me to think that? Or does anyone else think that? I'm sorry to any single parents, if this offends you I'm really sorry! I truly hope it doesn't, I'm just trying to get some insight on if it's normal for someone to feel this way or not.
