Please help or input

Long story short I've been single for 4 or 5 months My ex has been really weird lately but we haven't talked in a minute so anyway my ex asked if I wanted to see the dogs of course I said yes so I'm thinking it's just going to be me spending time with my dogs but we had a conversation and the whole time my ex saying oh if we got back together you wouldn't like my friends etc so I was confused the whole time then she called me last night like at 12 I Don't remember the conversation but I wake up to a good morning text from her an hour later she calls me and ask how I slept etc and that she wants to be friends I told her we are getting nothing out of that and she says let's see what happens. What is this (Oh and I'm still very much in love with her)
