Depo and No condoms?

Do you trust the Depo shot enough to have sex without condoms?

I did for years. My period stopped altogether. Hard to get pregnant when you're not producing eggs :p.

When I was on depo I called it the steel uterus shot. Nothing I mean nothing was getting in there!! I was slightly amazed at how much semen went in and still didn't get pregnant. I would trust that it would be safe to have unprotected sex after the first week of having the shot in your system and then just re do it as soon as recommended. While it was amazing for birth control, the side effects were quite terrible. For me personally, it ceased being worth it after a time.
