Doesn't the 1st trimester end at 13 weeks?

Just making sure I'm understanding correctly. I see a lot of people posting that they're looking forward to being done with the first trimester at 12 weeks, but I'm pretty certain it ends at 13 weeks...right?

It doesn't really matter in the end, you can say 12 or 13...it's not going to make a huge difference!

People say 12 because they are counting the 1st week. You count from the first day of your last period so the 1st week shouldn't count because you technically aren't pregnant that week. But yeah 13 sounds right.
