Tampons are uncomfortable?

I've tried to use tampons, like literally the smallest kind that I could find and it still won't go all the way up. I am a virgin, but I don't know if that has anything to do with it? I've tried so many times to get a tampon up there but it's painful to put in and take out for me. Is there a way to make it less painful? Any suggested brands?

I had the same problem! tampons are so uncomfortable to me. I use playtex sport, super comfy! I know it sounds weird lol but I can't even feel them once they go in! good luck girl!

I've noticed that when I am worrying about it and more tense putting it in it's a lot more uncomfortable for me. Also if it's still uncomfortable when it's in then that's because it's not far enough or not in the right position.

It may be because you haven't put it in right? The first time I started using tampons (I was also a virgin) and at first they were really uncomfortable but (as weird as it sounds) once you get the hang of it you can't even feel them ❤️❤️

Def. start with the light flow ones. I stand in a loose sqat when putting it in, and angle, not straight up but on a little angle, towards your spine. Make sure you are all relaxed and take a breath and put it in as you exhale. If you a bit dry lube will help.

This might be weird, but it might be helpful. Before you put in a tampon don't wipe, leave the blood that is just kinda there, it acts as a sort of lubricant and helps to make the insertion of the tampon easier. I'm also a Virgin and I found using the sport tampons to be a lot easier because of the applicators shape.
