Birthing classes, yay or nay?

This will be my first child and I was wondering if moms think the classes are worth going to?

I didn't feel like I needed to go. I asked my best friend if I should go and she told me that for her it was a waste of time. And I asked my mom as well and she said that she learned some helpful stuff, but that it's wasn't super necessary. So I didn't go. And I did just fine giving birth.
