Possible Galactosemia😞

Breastfeeding has been going amazingly. Baby girl is a very good eater with a great appetite. Yet today I find out that she is ever so slightly lacking in an enzyme that breaks down galactose in milk. Normal level is 3.5 and hers was 3.1. Normally babies with galactosemia have none of the enzyme or a very tiny amount. Anya just barely missed the mark, so her newborn blood screenings are being redone. She has no symptoms of galactosemia and her number was so close to the normal. However, I have to wait a week for the test to come back and in that time I have to feed her a special type of formula. Originally, I had planned on exclusively breastfeeding and now not being able to for some time (hopefully ONLY for a week) is breaking my heart. I know the formula is totally healthy for her, especially if she does have galactosemia. She will be totally fine regardless, but emotionally it's hard for me because the bonding that came with breastfeeding feels like it's missing😞 any advice? Hopefully her next test will have better levels!
PS: I am in NO way bashing formula feeding. I think it's plenty healthy. I'm just disappointed that I'm going to miss out on breastfeeding for a bit
