My boyfriend's cat is an outdoors cat. We moved in together and kept him in for a week. He was really sad and it was breaking my heart. I've slowly been letting tge cat outside. He doesn't have a collar yet so it's supervised.

We have a backyard area (apartment) that's pretty closed in. I didn't watch him this time because I thought he would just stay in the area.

He ran off! Will he come back? My bf doesn't know, he's at work. I'm freaking out. He used to do that all the time in the suburbs but we're in the city. I'm really worried if he'll be able to find his way back or if he gets hurt.
