TTC after Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, D&C, and Endometriosis diagnosis.
I'm 21 and I've always had pelvic pain, pain during sex, and I actually ended up bleeding for two months straight. After 12 trips to my OB/GYN in two months, he decided I should have a laparoscopy to see if I have endometriosis.
He also did a hysteroscopy and D&C on me. He found endometriosis spots and cut a few of them out.
It's been a week since my surgery, and I have five more weeks until I can have sex or do anything else. My husband and I have always planned on getting pregnant when I turn 22 or 23, and my birthday is in March. Since I have endometriosis, it may be harder to conceive, so we decided that we're going to start trying now because my OB/GYN said that the procedures I have increase fertility for about 12 months. He said that if we don't get pregnant within 12 months, come back and we'll discuss further options. I stopped my birth control and we've been looking into everything. We are going to use Preseed. And use OPK because we don't know when I'll ovulate since I was on birth control for five years.
Does anyone know when I'll ovulate? Has anyone had these procedures done? Did these procedures help you get pregnant? What things should I do while TTC?
