This beautiful girl grew her angel wings on 04/12/15 she was only 20! A life to short but full of  good deeds and memories. Cystic fibrosis stole this beautiful girl before her time.  Kay's memory will live on through her family and friends, but maybe you can help? Kayley was a massive Beyoncé fan even leaving behind a final wish for Beyoncés 'I was here' to be played at her funeral. This song could have been written for this girl she even said it herself. Kayleys was a true inspiration she changed medical history for every young person needing a lung transplant. Kayley at the age of 11 underwent a bilateral lung transplant and her determination to live changed medical science forever allowing children after her the opportunity to decide if they would like a transplant when there times comes. She defied all the odds of survival! After Kay's astonishing recovery from her transplant she went on to trail many medications and devices for cf and with this she made us all so proud, always remembering the life sacrificed to save her own she soldiered on strong! Kay won the breathing life awards along with many unsung hero awards, later on spearheading a campaign to keep Alderhey based in Liverpool, as we know this was a massive success and she deserved so much more credit than she got for all her hard work and fundraising. Kayley was admired by many for her determination to live a normal life, when not in hospital she attend school and later college becoming a hairdresser. Sadly during her final years at college she became to weak to hold a hairdryer but like always she battled through. The end was coming fast kayley became reliant on using a wheelchair when not in the house as her lungs were too weak and her muscles wasting away and her diabetes was consuming all her energy. Never mind her arthritis, hair loss and many other conditions which she didn't complain about. Kayley always believed there was someone worse off than her, even on them final days this was brought up that there was sicker people than her in the world. She didn't know what was happening she thought this was another chest infection that she would fight, due to Kay loosing nearly all of her Cf friends she had made it clear when her times come she didn't want to know.... So that's how it stayed! On them final days we had many laughs and jokes, not to allow her to know what was happening. She even made clear to her friend once she recovered she was buying Beyoncé  lips, she loved Beyoncé and wanted to go to her concert in 2015 but was to weak to go she thought she would make 2016. On that final day as she took her last few breaths we all held her tight and told her how loved she was, I promised I would do all the things in life she wanted, I would live for both of us. So here we are her family and friends asking for kayley to be remembered at the Beyoncé concert on the 5th July 16@ old Trafford, let kayley be there with us all singing along to Beyoncés song  and Kayleys only song 'I was here'! X Thank you 💔
