A lot of you have already seen that I had an abnormal pap w/ mild dysplasia & HPV positive in January. Had a colpo in February but my ob didn't see anything to biopsy so just did an endocervical curettage (scraping of inside of the cervix) to check where he couldn't see. That came back normal. Repeated the pap also which still came back mild dysplasia. I don't get that I guess. I mean I'm glad but does that make sense? My ob is highly recommended w/ 30+ years experience & is very conservative when it comes to patients safety. So I go back in a week for a follow up colposcopy (& probably another pap) to check if the abnormal cells are gone. But how will we even know if the first time we didn't even see any abnormal cells? **Don't get me wrong. I'm glad it was so non-concerning**
