Bowel movement causing bleeding early pregnancy?

This morning I had a tiny spot of red blood when I wiped. When I wiped again it was there again and then the third time it was gone. I went to the hospital because I'm way too paranoid and I have a scan tomorrow. I've had no blood since, I'm wondering could it have been from passing bowel movement? I wasn't straining alot though. I'm just confused as to what could cause a tiny amount of blood like that. I've had no sex either I've been too scared to so it's not that. Is it possible for having a poop (sorry tmi) to cause a little bleeding?
