Did you go to an Obgyn to get testing done before trying to conceive?

Can you say how they helped? My husband and I want to know everything about us physically especially since I've had two miscarriages before.

Since you have a history of miscarriage you might want to bring it up to your ob/gyn. But in my experiences (no losses) they want you to try for a year + before doing testing.

We started trying after we got married, but because I had been on BC for so long it took a while for my body to adjust and start ovulating. When I went for my yearly exam, I told my doctor everything and he did bloodwork and a sonogram but that was it.

Yup, mine put me on b/c because I was irregular too. I was bleeding so much and so heavily I became anemic! So they slapped a label on and gave me b/c.  Then when I went off b/c to TTC I didn't get a period, for two years, until they put me on meds to force it. Got one period, and pregnant the next cycle!

I went in for my annual and got some advice but she said not to come in for preliminary testing until we had been trying for 6 mo
