Video baby monitor???

Question

Any of you have a video baby monitor you love? My in laws want to get us one (we did not receive one at our shower) but do not think either of the ones we had selected are worth the money.

I guess the reviews on one is that it breaks within two years and the other is a no because my father in law doesn't like the brand.

I have the summer infant brand video monitor. It was around $100, and I got the optional extra camera, you can add up to four cameras to one monitor. I really like it. My baby is only 2 weeks old, so I haven't used it long. But still, very cool. It has night vision.

I have a very basic levana monitor. It's worked well for me but there are fancier models. I like that they don't connect to WiFi and the monitor has a peep mode so the screen will turn off if baby isn't making noise to save the battery. I only charge it every other day.

We like the Infant Optics DXR-8. My LO is only 6 months old, but we've bought 2 of them for us (for 2 different houses) and one for a friend. The picture is clear and it's been reliable so far.

we've bought this one with the sensor pad.. it was on sale from £199 to £90 in a baby event but i would have paid full price. my sister has it and is currently using it with her second still working great. complete piece of mind. i wanted this once ever since i first saw hers 2 and a half years ago with my nephew 😊
