Sleep or wake up?

Question

So I fed my baby just a little bit ago but I woke her up to do so she's 3 days old and I wasn't sure if I should feed her every 3-4 hours like they told me to at the hospital the last time I fed her was 3 and a half hours ago if she wants to sleep through the night should I let her or should I continue to wake her up to feed her my body woke me up from deep sleep and that's why I feed her

As long as she's healthy no issues then just let her sleep she will let you know when she is ready to eat

She needs to eat every 3-4 hours regardless for the first month. Her stomach is still miniscule. If you're breastfeeding, you need to continue to establish your supply and if you've been watching closely, you should already notice her hunger cues before crying, which makes feeding a ton easier when babies aren't hysterical. I would keep waking her up for feeding every 3 - 4 hours for the first month, or at least the first two weeks. A baby that young really shouldn't be sleeping through the night or for long stretches, just based on biology. If you feel uncomfortable, call the hospital, nurse hotline or your pediatrician and get more information.

Doc told me if they are gaining ample weight they can sleep as much as they would like... Until then wake them about 3 to 4 hours... Really should talk to your pediatrician about it...

After 4 hours you need to wake them up to eat. For the first month.
