Does your dog know you are pregnant?

So 5w6d today and my 2yo German Shepherd bitch has suddenly become extremely affectionate towards me. This morning she was lying in her usual spot on the couch between my husband and I then she looked up at my belly, got up and slumped down using it as a pillow. She stayed there for 2 hours nuzzling further in every time I moved. She is normally cuddly, but not like this, had me cracking up and thought I'd see if anyone else have had similar experiences?
