Okay so back in March I went to my gyno for some pain I've been dealing with for months and months and never really thought to much of, well come to find out I had a large ovarian cyst on my left ovary that required surgery. So I had surgery just days later and about 3 weeks post op, the pain returned so I went in to have everything looked at again, and sure enough my right ovary now had a large cyst. Since I had just had surgery my gyno wanted to try altnerative treatment first so she gave me a birth control pill, Minastren 24 Fe all the while I have Mirena in as well. Has anyone every taken a birth control pill in addition to having Mirena in? I hate taking medicine and always worry over side effects and I just wonder if anyone has any experience with this and/or could shed some light?! Thanks in advance <3
