What's "normal" size for passing blood clots during your period?

WARNING VERY TMI!!!!! MATURE ONLY!!!!!!!!! Ever since I had my period when I was 9, I've always passed huge blood clots that were about one centimeter thick and 1 and a half inches wide. I could feel it tear away from my uterine wall. It would hurt so bad to the point I felt drained of all of my energy as soon as it started tearing. I would pass 3-4 of them every 2 hours for 3 of 7 days of the duration of my period. They would some times be much larger than what I mentioned to the point I would have to beg the teacher to let me go to the restroom so that I could get a wad of tissue and remove the clot from my pad because it was much too large to absorb. I messed up sooooooo many uniforms from not being able to remove the clot from my pad because my elementary teachers thought I was lying about having my period. I was and still am a super heavy bleeder and whenever I would tell my mom, she would tell me it was normal to pass clots like that. I'm 18 almost 19 now and has graduated so no more having to deal with asking teachers can I use the restroom....unless my professor is childish 😒
