Opks - can you test at any time of the day?

Just wondering. I have the strips which i find hard to read. I was thinking of Googling a chart for it to see if I can decipher it. I have the Answer brand. It's night here and i need to go pee. Can i pee on the strip and get an accurate reading at this time? Will it make a difference? I'm supposed to be at my most fertile today according to Glow.

It should be accurate! In the last 10 months, I get my positive in the late afternoon/early evening. I usually test twice a day.

My fertility doctor told me to test between 10 am -12 pm. Her reasoning is that most women surge through the night and FMU might miss it as it hasn't quite entered the urine. Unfortunately, I missed my surge this last month. My doctors office wants me to use the digital tests because they had so many calls about confusion with the cheap ones.  The digital ones can be expensive, so I am going to test 2x a day with the cheap ones and continue to test at my recommended times with the digital. If it looks like I am getting a surge in the evening these then I will test again with the digital.

I tested last night and got a faint line then tested again today at 11am and got my surge :-)
