Atheist name for our baby
We are naming our baby boy Bodhi Sun. My husband let me pick the first name, and he came up with the middle name. I couldn't say no to him, because he was so excited about it and ever since bringing it up he speaks to my belly saying "I love you, Bodhi Sun". We are non-religious, spiritual, scientific people who believe the Sun is partially the real reason Earth exists. This is his reasoning. Bodhi means "awakening, enlightenment, and the nirvana of freedom from hate and greed".
Sometimes I do worry that people will think we're crazy...especially our parents. I've already brought this up to my husband and he is dead set on the middle name Sun. I don't want to hurt his feelings again by bringing it up once more...but I Guess I'm posting this to get some serious feedback...kind feedback only, please.
