Denied for Medicaid, what do I do now?

My energy just dropped to the floor. Got a letter saying I was denied for Medicaid. I'm currently about 7 weeks pregnant.

This is what it says not eligible and the law that supports this action is:

(FL Admin. Code= R ) 
( FL Statue = S)
R65A-1.205

Please does anybody know what that means? And point me in the right direction? I have an appointment at a free clinic but just for an ultrasound, they can't do much.

I don't think they can deny you if you're pregnant?? Does it say anything about an appeal?

The admin code doesn't give any further information applicable to being denied, nor do the new rule proposals that were posted this year.    I would contact the office in your area and see if they have any recommendations.  They can probably take a look at your application and see what was missing if your income is still low enough to qualify for Medicaid benefits.

You can get a case manager at a local non profit for women and children to help you with this and any other social service that could be helpful (i.e. Low cost or free birthing class, WIC, etc). A Google search should yield some results for your area

I just got denied also said me and my husband make 700$ a month to much to be eligible but they don't consider all your current bills rent or nothing and bs. Idk how I'm gonna afford this baby, I do know that no matter what God will take care of me and mine. God bless you. 🙏🏻
