God is punishing us
That's what my husband said to me the other day after I was venting to him about ttc these last four months..... When I met him I told him I never wanted to get married or have kids, and here we are 6 years later married and ttc. When I met him he wanted to have kids right away even if it meant before marriage. Once we got married he agreed to wait a least a year before we started trying. Now, he says he'll be happy if we do or don't have kids. So when I vent to him about how stressful and frustrating this is he always likes to say, "remember when you didn't want kids." But it truly hurt my feelings when he said "God is punishing us for not wanting them and now that you want them he may or may not give us any." I know men sometimes say things without thinking things trough but that stament has made this month much more stressful. What if he's right...Makes me feel like a bad person some way or another. I needed to vent a little, to someone else other than my husband lol.
