Is it a little uncomfortable for you to lay on your back?

I'm 17 weeks and it has been uncomfortable laying on my back. It's not painful per se... I just feel these stretching sensations... as if the uterus is being weighed down and the round ligaments are being stretched/pulled back or something. I know that sounds too specific, but that's how it feels. I feel better laying sideways (no preference at all as to which side).

They actually say your not supposed to lay on your back. Ita not good for the placenta it baby. It's your bodies way of saying hey move in a different position. I feel the same way when I do.

Yes, even at 17 wks. It's different for everyone when it starts getting uncomfortable, depends on size of baby & your uterus. But it being uncomfortable is your bodies way of saying don't do it.

Yes I learned that from other ladies on here. Wait a few weeks and you won't even be able to stand it for a few seconds. I know I can't.

They say at 16 weeks not to lay completely flat. Prop yourself up a little more. I know what you're talking about. I feet it to, but I just readjust. But God sometimes it just feels so good to just lay there. I totally miss laying on my belly!

I can comfortably lay on my right side only. My left side gets numb and my back ache if I lay on it. 😧😩

Itll get much much worse ~28wNow it feels like a stabbing pain the spine. I read online that youre not supposed to lay on your back because the weight of the baby lands on a vein which carries blood to your brain, and it slows it down. :/Good luck!
