Scared to death??

Question

Sooo I am just about 38 weeks.. And I'm 3cm dilated last time I was checked which was about a week ago. I'm starting to stress and worry about giving birth is anyone else feeling this way? Like scared to death?? I always think the worst, and I read wayyyy too much 🙈 everyone says oh you'll be fine . Yes maybe I will and so will baby but like it's still freakin scary to even think about , especially being a FTM :(

So, a positive note - this is the easiest part - giving birth is the easiest part of raising a child. It has to happen and there isn't really a whole lot you can do to prepare yourself. Just enjoy it and know you're meeting your baby at the end. :)

Its a natural process, giving birth. Us as woman were created to give birth. You will be ok. :)

I'm not a first time mum, I'm a third time mum and I'm terrified 😁. It doesn't matter if it's your first or third or whatever, we never KNOW what to expect as every labour is different. A ftm might have an amazing birth and a second or third time might have a traumatic one! We are all in this together

Once my waters broke with my first and I started getting contractions I was 3cm dilated, 2 hours later I was 10cm and baby was on her way out! There's no way to prepare for labour but breathing techniques work a treat. & like someone else said giving birth is the easiest thing about raising a baby and hopefully for you it doesn't take long, abit of pain for a lifetime of happiness 😊

Lol it is totally normal to get this anxiety! It can be scary to think about... But in the words of my 3 year old "you can't stop now!!" And you can't! There is only one possible end result to your pregnancy: birth!! And the ladies that said that childbirth is the easiest part of raising a child: they are right! 😂 but it'll be fine. Things can happen but doctors and nurses do everything they can to prevent them/intervene. Once contractions start you won't be scared anymore... You'll just be ready for it to be over and have your baby in your arms 😊

I'm going on #4 and I'm scared because it's my second csection, which the first was easy. It's just natural to get the jitters about giving birth. You'll be fine though. Everyone has there own birth story, so you can never expect to experience what someone else did, good or bad.

I go back and forth between being really excited and terrified. Haha! I think as FTM it's super normal to feel this way. It's basically the only thing in our adult life that we have no idea what to expect! My advice to you is just to roll with the punches and try and relax as much as possible! Panicking when going into labor isn't going to stop it! :) just remember, this "pain" is GOOD pain. It means your baby is coming and our bodies were made to do this!! We got this!

I am a ftm, 37 weeks pregnant and I am DEAD SCARED about delivering my baby, i just try to not think about it but i am really nervous and scared about it 😞😞😞

This is my second and I'm terrified too! I told my mom I was scared for my first because I didn't know what to expect and I'm scared now because I DO know what to expect!😳 You might not forget about the pain like a lot of people say but it's temporary and so worth it and it didn't stop me from wanting a house full :) good luck!
