Post ectopic pregnancy

Hi everyone... so this isn't a touchy subject for me since I didnt get to fully experience pregnancy yet, but August of 2015 I found out I was pregnant the same day I had to rush to the emergency room for extreme pains in my stomach and pelvis area.  I knew little to nothing about ectopic pregnancy so I was confused when I was told that's what I was experiencing.  I was just hoping to get some thoughts and hopefully stories from others who have gone through the same thing.  My husband and I were not trying at the time when it happened so it came as a suprise but obviously mixed emotions since I knew something was wrong.  Since my surgery, I came to love the fact of being pregnant and having kids.  I knew I wanted to be a mom at that moment.  For that split moment, I loved the thought of becoming a mom and it was heartbreaking to be told it had to be removed.  We have been trying since then and every month it is disappointing to know I haven't conceived.  I'd like to know who's gone through this and how long it took before you got pregnant again?
