Love??

So somebody I know has been being hit by her man in the head. He hit her so hard everything went black for 5 seconds or so. He smacked her twice the day after and has smacked her in the head everyday for a week or so. She's been saying she has a headache she can't get rid of it. Do you think he could've caused serious damage?
