Tummy pains..

Whenever I go to the toilet for a poo I've noticed that I get some pains and discomfort in my tummy. I'm not constipated or anything so I'm just wondering is this normal? It's not an unbearable pain. It's more of an annoyance kind of pain. Kind of like sharp stabbing pains coming in and out. What could this be? I'm 25 + 1 day today. Thanks ladies. Apologises if it's tmi.
