So I just had our beautiful baby girl June 8th I was curious when did y'alls baby's get their skin complexion? I am caucasian and my husband is African American. Our daughter has my eyes blue grey 💜

My daughter was probably around 10 months when she started to darken. Here's a picture of her now vs when she was a baby.

Im mixed and got my color around 2 but my brother is also mixed, same parents and stayed a lighter color. It really just depends on the genes. Congrats btw!

Just had my baby 10 days ago.he has taken more after my looks than my husband's.which was a huge shock to me.my husband is black and I'm white.my mother in law says our baby won't get too much darker.she says you can tell by the coloring around their toes and fingernails and ears.she says it's because my strong Scottish genes that he took after me.thats me and my husband and then the next one is our baby.

My nephews mom Said that he got his color when he was 2. My little girl never got hers she is my color. My brother and I are black white and hispanic and our children's other parents are black (around the same shade).

My son has just turned 7 months. Weirdly his face is still a lot lighter than his body (though he did have an infection at Christmas that made little white patches on his forehead, and we are still waiting for the pigment to return). His hair hasn't really started curling much yet either, only a couple of ringlets on his crown.

My first started to have his complexion turn around 2 or 3 months. His eyes stayed grey until about 7 months before turning brown. My second? He's just as white as I am with light blue eyes. I'm interested to see if he always takes after me, or if his eyes or complexion, or both, change before his 1st birthday like his brother did!
