Traveling at 33 weeks?

Question

When do you plan to stop traveling? My inlaws have planned a 4 day trip this week for the whole family. I'm 33 weeks today and the trip is about 3-4 hours from home. I've discussed it with my doctor but just wanted to see what your alls plans were. I'm actually a high risk pregnancy as well for Type 1 diabetes and having HELLP syndrome with my last pregnancy. Everything looks perfect from those two standpoints. I even had blood work drawn this morning to double check on the HELLP syndrome stuff before I would leave. TIA!!

Almost 33 weeks and high risk. My husband has opportunity leave at the end of the month & we plan on travelling locally, 3-4hr drives to San Diego, Legoland, the beach, etc. I asked my ob & he have me the thumbs up.

I'm going to a week conference when I'm 35-36 weeks. I am sitting the whole conference, so I figure I'll be fine. Plus I'm on procardia so no contractions lol it's 4 hrs from home... Hey they have hospitals lol

I am almost 34 weeks and I am actually about 4 hours alway from my hospital on a family vacation. I think as long as your doctor thinks it's okay you should be safe

I'm I'm 32 weeks exactly today and will be traveling all this week. And won't get home until next Monday when I'm 33 weeks.

We live in Texas and leave tomorrow for an 11 hour drive to Denver. We have a wedding and several festivities planned. Then, an 11 hour drive back. My dr. told me they will start to restrict my travel at 34 weeks.

Take it easy, and good luck! Just make sure you are taking stretching/walking breaks to prevent blood clots. That was the #1 piece of advice I've gotten.

Unless your going to the middle of no where with no nearby hospitals I wouldn't worry about traveling... relax and enjoy yourself. Unless your have fast labors you should be able to drive an hour or so to get to a hospital.

I wa S planning on traveling to to Phoenix this month and next month, but they decided to have a massive heatwave lol. I had severe HELLP syndrome with my last pregnancy so my doctor had told me to take it slow and take at least one break an hour from the car. Phoenix is a 6 hour drive from where I am. I don't plan on going because of their severe weather, but that's what I would've done if we would've gone.

31 weeks here & it is so hard for me to sit still as well so I've been reminding myself this time around to stay within an hour from home after the next 2weeks. I've heard the second often deivers faster which is terrifying since my first was so textbook! lol good luck all!

I'm moving from Utah to Missouri next week (I'll be 35 weeks during the trip).  I don't really have an option to stay put., it's a 17 hour drive but we are doing it in 4 days.   And my doctor advised I stop every 90 minutes to walk around.  My husband is driving one car and I'm driving the other one.  We also have4 kids and a dog along for more fun. I do have to say my doctor looked a little worried.  😮

We're taking a round trip vacation from Denver to ft lauderdale during weeks 32-34. My Obgyn said as long as I have no signs of labor & am not going somewhere without a near by hospital, she has no issues. Just wants me back by 35 weeks

I would stop traveling far by 35 weeks. I know many babies born at 36 weeks so it's better to be safe around hkme than sorry
