Spotting on Femara?

Hi all--- I am second try with Femara at 5mg--- the 2.5 dose did nothing for me. Today is the last day of 5mg, and I am experiencing some pretty significant spotting. Has anyone else experienced this? If so did you go on to ovulate? I had a little bit of this last dose-- and have a not fun history of abnormal bleeding due to a dyssynchronous endometrial lining with pcos, so I am just curious if this is my body messing up (again!) Or if this is a fairly normal side effect.
