I'm confused.

So yesterday morning I decided to take a test bc I thought it'd be a good present if it was a bfp. I was supposed to start my period last Sunday and nothing. When I took the test yesterday I saw a line pop up on c but then disappeared. What does that mean? We really want this baby and have been trying. I know it will happen when it happens but I'm so confused with everything. Please help me.
