Advice
I've been seeing a 30 yr old guy. Let's call him Jonas. I'm 26. I like him very very much and he knows this. I've told him how I feel, how handsome I think he is, I've offered to take care of him when he's been sick, listened to him complain about work, given him advice, bought presents for his dog, etc. I've been a total sweetheart with him. And he's the type of guy who doesn't express emotions. He's hardly ever sweet. On more than one occasion he has made me feel like I'm the one chasing him.
Anyway, he has a best friend, let's call him Tommy. Jonas would always joke about how Tommy is his man wife. Tommy has his credit card info and will book trips and events for him and his group of friends. Yesterday we had the below exchange. Tommy was going to go over to his house and cook for him. We haven't talked since this text. This is the longest we've gone without talking.
Is it over?? I was hoping he'd clarify and say, no, Tommy (a man) is not your competition, because he's a man and you're a woman. now I'm doubting his sexuality.
Thoughts?? Either way I'm willing to accept this is the end. I'm at peace knowing I was the best person I could be to him, and eventually (if he's actually into girls), he will miss me.
