Weird?

My doc isn't seeing me until I'm 11 weeks, is it normal for them to wait that long?! (I am currently 7 weeks.)
 I was wanting to see my nugget on an ultrasound. 😢

The longer wait the better for an ultrasound so you'll actually be able to see something! I didn't have my first until 14 weeks

It depends on the Doctor. Mine saw me at 9 weeks. Then every 4 weeks. Now I'm down every 2 weeks. I'm in my 3rd trimester

I know it's hard to wait but it's a actually very normal. That way the doctors can see more. If you went now it would be a tiny dot, almost nothing. But at 11 weeks it'll actually look like a tiny baby and they'll be able to tell you exactly when your due date is the further long you are.

My first REAL ultrasound is scheduled for 10+3..I cheated & had them scan me at work..(I work at a hospital)..I couldn't stand the wait

If you go to the hospital where I am before 12 weeks they'll turn you away! Don't get an ultrasound until you're 18-20 weeks and I was 20 weeks!!! Such a long painful wait

My doctor sees me every 4 weeks. Got my first ultrasound at 8 weeks and then one at 20 weeks.

My clinic doesn't see you until 10wks, unless you have any risks.

Same! They could only get me in at 11 weeks, even that was pushing it. I'm actually glad I'm waiting until 11, I've read so many stories on here of doctors not being able to hear a heartbeat because it's too early, by 11 weeks, you will definitely be able to hear the heart and the baby will actually like somewhat like a little human :)
