How much weight can you lift?

Question

How much weight are you allowed to lift in your first trimester?  My sister says only 10 but I could have sworn it was 20. My Dr. Hasn't said and I forgot to ask

My doc said 20 lbs unless you did it before hand, then just listen to your body it will let you know if it's too much.

My daughter is 25 and I carry her around all the time.  I try not to go over 30 pounds if I don't need to

I didn't even think of this! I'll have to ask my midwife when I go in since my little chunk is 33 pounds!

I never asked my doc but he had told me to continue working out and my son is 42 lbs and I lift him about 1x to 2x a day. He runs to me when I get home from work. But ask I get bigger. I'll probably kneel down to him.

That's a question I need to ask. My 3 year old is 45 lbs and my mil is constantly telling me not to pick him up.

I'm high risk due to a miscarriage in march and not having a cycle between then and new pregnancy, my doc said 20lbs max but try to avoid lifting heavy things multiple times a day or for a long period of time. I'm also only allowed to walk for exercise and definitely cannot have any intimacy, so my situation may be different.
