Hi, my 21 month old son still nurses. When I'm working he nurses in the morning before work and at night before bed. I haven't sent pumped milk with him to my mom's house since he turned 1. He has no problem at all going all day with my mom with no breastmilk. He drinks water, cow milk, orange juice, or iced tea all day long. On the weekends, and now every day since I'm on summer vacation from teaching, he is with me all day long. I give the same beverages as my mom, but every time I sit down, whether it is to relax or play with him, he climbs into my lap and gets into position to nurse. I love nursing and my milk supply hasn't really gone down. I don't mind nursing a little bit, but it's like all he sees when he looks at me is a big boob literally. He constantly reached in my shirt or pulls at my shirt. He even does this at the grocery store when he's sitting in the front of the basket. I know he really doesn't have to nurse for nutrition, and I just always figured that I would let him self ween when ready or I would dry up. Is there anyone out there in a similar situation or that has any advice?
