Cups???????

Question

Do menstrual cups hurt when you put them in? How early would you recommend someone using them? Like, if they just started and have only had one complete period cycle would you recommend them using it??

I would recommend them!  I love mine.  I'm 33 and I WISH I had known about them since I got my first period at 13 - I feel like the last 20 years of periods would have been much easier!  There is a learning curve but once you get the hang of it/get comfortable, they are seriously far superior to tampons and pads.  And think of all the waste you'll be saving from the landfills!  Good luck!

I looooove my cup!! Much cleaner, lasts all day. I can sleep with it in. It DOES take some practice inserting it so that it doesn't leak. It is not painful and when you get it inserted correctly you cant even feel it. And don't worry, it won't get stuck up there ;)  IMO the learning curve/time was so worth it. I do wear mine with a pantiliner.
