Tampons (Sigh*)

I want to try tampons but my mom says that its against Christian religion and im sitting here like wtf how is it against Christian religion to not use tampons?? Does it ruin the hymen or something? Im 13 years old and I startedmy period last month and I obviously can't get a job.

I tried bugging my dad to get me tampons but he twisted the blade and said ask your mother.

Is it my problem that Its only been a few weeks and im so sick of pads and the smell that comes with it?
