Help! Please?!

Question

I'm going crazy. After my ultrasound today I was told baby is measuring 2 weeks behind. I am so afraid we are losing this baby. I should be 7 weeks based on my LMP and everything I know about ovulation and conception. My LMP was May 1st. I ovulated sometime between May 14-17th, and got my positive test on May 30th.

Baby is now measuring 5 weeks, no fetal pole, no sign of a heartbeat. I'm a wreck. 
Could I have ovulated LATE, conceived around the 24th, and still have gotten a positive HPT as early as the 30th?

What do you think? 
Could my dates just be off, and baby be ok?

Your dates could certainly be off. I've read about that happening. I also wanted to let you know my experience with this, but it wasn't so great I'm afraid. I went in thinking I was 8 weeks back in February and I only measured 6- no heartbeat. My doctor told me to come back in a week and the baby still measured 6 without a heartbeat so it had obviously stopped growing at that point. 😢 I was told it was a miscarriage and went back 2 weeks later when I should have been 10 weeks to have 1 last ultrasound just to ease my mind before having a D &c. I'm praying for you girl! I've definitely read about other people going back in and everything looking great too so hopefully that is the case! Best wishes. 💜🙏🏻

I went in for my ultrasound last week in thought i was 8 wks 5 days comes to find out i was 6wks 4days withbheartbeat might be a lil early for heart beat baby is very tiny at that point praying all is well

I think so, since I got my bfp at 7-8 DPO. I don't think it's impossible. Good luck sweetie you're in my thoughts and prayers!

Could you ask to get your hCg levels checked. I think as the baby grows the numbers double every couple of days. I hope that your baby is growing and you are surrounded by love and support!

Just too early to hear a heartbeat Hun.  Don't stress at all.  It's such early days that the stress won't do you or bubs any good.  Positive thoughts and trust your body to you its job xx
