I had my 20 week ultrasound apt today and the tech was able to see everything except she could not see the heart, nose and lips as clearly as she would like to have. She said politely that it was because of how dense my stomach was. I am overweight. About 5'5" 219. Then the Dr came in and "tried" as well but didn't really try and just said "I can't  see anything" and blamed my C section scar tissue. I am scheduled to go back in 3 weeks. Has this ever happened to anyone? I left feeling so embarrassed and nervous. The place is a high tech/risk facility which I assumed they shouldn't have a problem seeing anything clearly.  I'm just mad at myself and feel horrible that they could not see the babies heart clearly because of my fat :( Sorry to vent
