Downs screening

Hi ladies, I'm 14 weeks and received a call yesterday saying we're at high risk of having a baby with downs 1:55 chance and I'm unsure weather to go ahead with the next procedure as I had a 1% miscarriage risk. Had any one previously been in this position?
