Do prayers get answered

Do prayers work because I really need them🙏🏻😢

I believe there is power in prayer but its not a 'quick fix' by any means.  God sometimes sends you tools (people, situations, etc) to help yourself instead of miraculously lifting a burden. 
Mostly though, if you dont believe in the l9spower of prayer, if you dont have faith.. Try to find it within yourself.

Sidebar- yes, I'm Christian but I dont feel as though I do as much as I should. I hate when I feel like the only time I pray is when I need something. It helps to start small, with a daily dialog.

I believe in God therefore I believe in prayer and anything He does its for a reason. Just like the other comment said, he works in mysterious ways by sending you signs, people or objects etc; but sometimes I find it a bit sad (not refering to you) that when something horrible happen or people did something bad is when they look for Him to help them. Im sorry for what you are going through but I will pray for you. Just remember you are never alone!

I believe they do. I went into full cardiac arrest TWICE last year!!! May 1st and May 2nd. I died twice and I'm still here today. I had brain damage over 98% of my brain after I died the second time. When I came out of a coma I couldn't speak. Once I started back talking, I couldn't remember anything nor anyone. I was being prayed for the whole time. I have 0% ZERO PERCENT brain damage. I have no type of slurring of speech, difficulty walking, trouble writing, nor problems with memory at all. I lost so much blood to the point I needed a blood transfusion but I wasn't given one. I am alive today because of prayer. I thought I was going to fail school because I missed 3 months of school. I passed every single last class that year. Then a few months later I almost lost my mom when she was giving birth because she had a clot in her uterus, she lost too much blood, and she was already pre-eclamsey. She actually need a blood transfusion but she didn't get it either.

Well I feel like it will help. But if people are sick and refuse treatment and just pray it will go away that might not be the best thing to do. I'm Catholic and believe in the power of prayer but I also believe in medicine. I'll keep you in my prayers for whatever it may be that you need them for 😊
