Depo or Nexplannon?

Question

I am currently on Microgestin it is generic for Loestrin. I've always taken a pill, but I just think the Depo or Implant would be more effictive. Comments and opinions?

I would highly recommend nexplanon. You don't have to worry about it for 3 years. It completely stopped my period and I haven't experienced any other side effects. The insertion is quick and virtually painless. Of course side effects very from person to person but it's been great. It's also one of the most effective forms of birth control.

I've been on both and personally prefer the depo, I had the implant for a year and found it awful for myself as had 2 days off a month bleeding. Obviously it changes with every woman but I prefer the shot, I'm on my second shot so about 4 months in and it's great. Aswell if your body doesn't settle well with the implant remember it has to be in for a minimum of a year where as the shot is around 3 months! Xx
