Summer swaddling solved
Here's my LO sporting his new summer swaddle. He wont sleep without being swaddled, so I had to find a solution. I just went to the fabric store & bought the thinnest and stretchiest fabric I could find. This is a cotton/linen/spandex blend (stay away from polyester which doesn't breathe very well). I got 1.5 yards & trimmed it into 2 squeal triangles to make 2 big swaddles. The triangle shape actually works much better than a blanket with corner folded down.
The swaddles are such a good size that you can wrap the tail around the arms a couple times & tuck the end of the tail in so it doesn't come unwrapped and the legs can totally move freely & independently.
Anyway, it's not rocket science to get a chunk of fabric, but it took me quite a while to think of it after scouring the internet looking for a way to swaddle my LO during the summer because he sleeps so hot. I hope this helps someone else!
