When Do I Get An Ultrasound?

I will be in my 7th week next week! I set an appointment for 7weeks 4days because my husband will be in town that day and I want us to see our munchkin together!! Will we be able to hear the heart beat then??

You should be able to see the heartbeat by then, but you might just call to check that they're doing an ultrasound. Some do and some don't at that point, and I'd hate to have you disappointed.

I have my first appointment tomorrow, I'll be 6W1D and my doctor scheduled me for an ultrasound. It is different with different doctors though so definitely make sure they will be doing one
