IUI succeeds First try!!
Hi lovely ladies. Here is our story. I'm 25, hubby is 29. We have been trying for children for two and a half years. I used ever method and scrap of gossip i could find to help us. Hanging upside down, eating specific things, taking odd things like primrose oil, buying books that promised conception. Nothing happened. At two years with never a missed period or hint of a faint line, I dragged my hubby in for testing. He had low mobility but not severe. Just slightly below "normal". My end everything came back healthy. Ovulating on day 14 ever month. Healthy uterus. No infections or STDs. It was all good, so why no baby? Our Dr put us in the unexplained category. So we set up for iui and clomid. The clomid worked great, i produced 5 follicles all a healthy 18-20. I did the trigger shot with Ovidrel, On June 8th 2016 we went in to our iui. Hubby produced 11million sperm for that day. I'm not gonna lie the iui hurt like a bitch. I had cramping and soreness for about 3 days after then light cramping off an on. No other symptoms (unless you count crying episodes) on Day 8po I did get sore nipples. I was pretty sure it failed. I felt like i would know my body and if i was pregnant i would feel it. We had no insurance coverage for infertility. So everything was out of pocket. On day 10po. I took my first test. (hardest wait of my life) It was so faint you had to look in the right light and angle. But the husband saw it too. Then on 11dpo i got the result shown. I'm in disbelief that it actually worked first try. Everyone told me the first time usually doesn't work and if it does it's a low chance. I'm nervous because it's only been 3 days since testing ( positive every morning btw). I just got confirmation today from my Dr that yes I'm really pregnant. I'm so ready to be a mom. I just want to keep this baby safe and never let it go.
